Star Sampler Quilt Class

This is an 8 week class.

During classes 1 – 5,  you will learn 5 different star blocks and the Irish Chain block incorporating dozens of different quilt block styles.

Classes 6 – 8 will cover putting the blocks together, adding borders and creating the quilt ‘sandwich’ (top, batting and back).

You will have time available during each session to sew and work on your blocks. Homework will most likely be necessary to complete your quilt top by the last class.

You will receive a materials list prior to the first class. Please bring your fabric, thread, and sewing machine each week.

There are cutting mats, rotary cutters, rulers and irons available for use but you are encouraged to bring your own. We have two basic machines available for rent if you are not able to bring your own machine. These are available on a first come, first served basis.
